Duties and accountabilities
• Complete welding of steel components.
• Read drawings and set up work area to carry out work safely, in a timely manner and correct to the drawing.
• Liaise directly with site management to ensure smooth completion of work.
• Work to tight deadlines.
• Getting production Right First Time.
• Quantity and quality of work to be of a high standard, free of defects and with attention to detail.
• Work safely in line with company policy and Health and Safety Standards.
• Report any issues to management in a timely manner.
• Attend and complete all required training.
• Adhere to company safety statement, quality manual, associated procedures, and employee handbook.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and learn new skills.
Skills and Experience Required
• 1-2 years relevant experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Possess a heightened awareness of health and safety.
• Good communication skills with ability to work independently as well part of a team.
• Good level of English communication.
