Ward Receptionist – Maternity Department | (Company Name - Subscribers only): (Company Name - Subscribers only)

Sherwood Forest Hospitals are currently seeking enthusiastic and highly motivated Receptionists to join our dedicated Maternity Unit team. This role involves working across both the Maternity Ward and the Labour Suite, ensuring smooth operations and supporting the security of the unit u2013 an essential part of the role.

Key Responsibilities:
– Make appropriate preparations for all admissions to ensure a smooth patient journey.
– Provide a warm and friendly reception service to patients and relatives attending the ward.
– Ensure case notes are obtained promptly for all patients and maintain them in a complete, orderly, and accurate state.
– File all relevant documentation in accordance with the Trust’s Filing Policy, ensuring security and accuracy at all times.
– Check patient name and hospital number when filing documents and ensure all test results are filed before case notes leave the ward.
