We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a purpose-built small animal practice in a quaint market town in Leicestershire. The practice is conveniently situated just a ten-minute walk from the train station and close to major transport routes, including the A14 and M1. Leicester, Coventry, and Northampton are all within a 45-minute drive, and there is easy access to various airports, including Birmingham, East Midlands, Luton, and Stansted. The practice is purpose-built to deliver the highest clinical standards and provides excellent facilities, including Digital X-ray, Dental X-ray, Haematology, Tonopen, Ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, separate cat and dog wards, and much more.

You will see a mixed client base, including a high proportion of dog lovers, and work up your own cases, offering you the opportunity to develop any specific interests with certification encouraged and fully funded. The team members hold a variety of individual interests, including a Mental Health First Aider, and regular CPD is encouraged and supported for all colleagues.

The Rota:
– Full time role – Flexible working options and job share opportunities available
– Current practice opening hours are Monday – Friday: 9am – 6pm
– Fair weekend rota
– No OOH or On-call
