Join a leading independent technology and services provider as a Technician 2.Job Overview:We areseeking an experienced Onsite Deployment Engineer to support a device refreshproject. This is a hands-on role involving laptop setup, configuration, anduser support in a fast-paced corporate environment.Location: BristolDaily Rate: An hourly rate, in-scope IR35, of£14.54(PAYE) OR £18.87 (via a Hays Approved Umbrella Company).Contract Length: (17th Nov 2025 – 2nd Jan 2026)Key Responsibilities Perform device refresh tasks including unpacking, setup, configuration, and deploymentExecute device build and wipe tasks, and report DOA/faulty devicesProvide build completion updates to the Deployment ManagerUpdate the Asset Management Database (AMDB)Support peripherals including printers, scanners, wireless networks, and VPNsManage IT equipment IMACD (Install/Move/Add/Change/Disposal) including data wipe and end-of-life supportTrack and resolve incidents and service requests via the client’s ticketing system Key Requirements Experience in corporate IT environmentsStrong troubleshooting skills across hardware and softwareAbility to manage laptop and device handover across multiple users and sitesFamiliarity with asset management systems and documentationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with other engineers and stakeholders How to Apply: If you’re interested in thisrole, click ‘apply now’ to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call usnow.
