We are a family-run coach and bus operator running a mixed fleet from 16 to 72 seats across Bristol and South Gloucestershire. We need an experienced fitter to keep that fleet safe and on the road.
What you’ll do
- Routine servicing and planned maintenance on buses, coaches and minibuses
- Six-week safety inspections to DVSA standard
- Fault diagnosis and mechanical and electrical repairs
- MOT preparation and compliance work
- Defect rectification to keep vehicles available
- Accurate maintenance records for the audit trail
What you need
- Solid experience on PSV, HGV or heavy commercial vehicles
- Confident diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Good working knowledge of DVSA compliance
- Able to manage your own workload without constant supervision
- Relevant mechanical qualifications preferred, strong hands-on experience considered
