Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to oversee the progress of our EV charging infrastructure projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating with key stakeholders, managing timelines, and ensuring the smooth delivery of project milestones. This role involves managing relationships with contractors, Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), EV retailers, and other stakeholders to drive each project stage effectively and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop and manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Contractor Coordination: Engage and manage contractors for engineering design and site preparation, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- DNO Engagement: Collaborate with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) to assess grid capacity and secure necessary permissions and capacity for EV charging installations.
- Stakeholder Negotiation: Build and maintain partnerships with EV retailers, negotiating terms for collaborative installations of EV charging points.
- Resource Management: Allocate and coordinate resources effectively, liaising with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met.
- Progress Reporting: Regularly update internal teams and senior management on project status, identifying potential challenges and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven track record in managing cross-functional teams, contractors, and external stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of EV infrastructure requirements, including DNO processes and capacity assessments.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, or similar).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the energy or automotive sector, especially with EV charging infrastructure.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for EV infrastructure.

Pay: £42,998.00-£60,451.00 per year
