FITNFIX is a small plumbing and heating company with Beckenham office and a small full time employee plumber/ gas engineer team carrying out mainly domestic repair and install jobs in SE London. Our office is next to the Clockhouse station – this is a hub where we organise jobs, materials, rubbish, have lunch and have fun when time allows.

We are looking for a part time + experienced domestic plumber with positive attitude and initiative for work.

Role description

Minimum 3 days per week, 9am-5pm no evening or weekend work is required. Option part time, or full time your choise! You will be expected to do no more than 3 days a week with full time option available.

Candidate Requirements:

You need to have employment history of 10 years + with a London based domestic plumbing firm. Commercial, non UK experience does not apply.

• Previous employment as domestic plumber /heating engineer 10 years employment. Proactive approach to every job – identifying issue, coming up with a solution and implementing it are an essential part to each job.
• Able to tackle any plumbing job within domestic setting – be it taking out a bath and patching a few tiles or installation of shower cubicle, investigations using cameras, accessing and repairing concealed / tiled in units. Understanding of wiring, diagnosis and repair of central heating or hot water issues (you are not expected to have boiler repair experience).
• Understanding of customer expectations and giving maximum value during each minute of your visit while avoiding any quick fix non lasting solutions at all cost. Helping generate more work by bringing essential issues customers attention.
• Able to follow note taking protocol, communicate with office regarding any additional work. Answer any queries from office in timely manner.

Salary: From £24,000+ for 3 days per week to £36,000.00+ per year for 5 days 40 hour week up to £45,000 with overtime and bonuses.

Experience:

• domestic plumbing: 10 years working for a domestic plumbing company
• Experience in tiling, decorating, carpentry, electrics is a bonus.
• Fluent English

Licence/Certification:

• City & Guilds (preferred)
• Driving (required)
