(Company Name - Subscribers only) is one of Ireland’s leading mechanical and electrical engineering companies in Ireland. We have extensive experience delivering complex projects in a wide variety of industries ranging from Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Semi-conductor, industrial and Commercial.

We are looking for a Pipework Rigger to join our team. The pipework rigger is responsible for the safe, precise, and efficient movement, placement, and installation of pipework, structural assemblies, and mechanical components on site. This role requires strong technical rigging knowledge, experience working in M&E construction environments, and strict adherence to safety and lifting protocols.

Roles/Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:
· Set up and operate rigging systems for lifting and positioning pipework, valves, frames, and mechanical equipment.
· Interpret and work from detailed drawings, lifting plans, method statements, and layout schematics.
· Assist pipefitters and welders in aligning pipe spools, supports, and mechanical assemblies.
· Install pipework and associated components to required tolerances and specifications.
· Conduct pre-lift checks and ensure all lifting equipment meets certification and inspection standards.
· Follow all site safety procedures, risk assessments, and safe systems of work.
· Ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
· Participate in toolbox talks, safety briefings, and permit-to-work systems.
· Identify and report hazards, unsafe conditions, or damaged lifting gear.
· Work closely with supervisors, crane drivers, banksmen, welders, and other trades.
· Communicate lifting sequences and hazards clearly to the team.
· Support planning of complex lifts and provide input on rigging requirements.
· Complete job sheets, lift checklists, and equipment inspection records.
· Ensure all work meets the company’s quality standards and client specifications.

Requirements
· Proven experience as a Rigger in industrial, mechanical, or M&E construction environments.
· Strong understanding of lifting operations, rigging gear, and safe load handling.
· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and lift plans.
· Experience installing pipework, supports, and mechanical assemblies.
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
· Experience working in data centres, pharmaceutical plants, manufacturing, or utilities.
· Knowledge of mechanical systems, valves, and pipe spool installation.
