Working pattern: Full-time with Saturday preferred (4 weekdays + Saturday); Saturday part-time (2-3 weekdays + Saturday), term-time and flexible working considered

About the role

We are seeking a passionate, proactive and dynamic Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing MDT in a primarily clinical role delivering high-quality assessment and intervention to children and young people.

This role would suit a clinician who values evidence-based practice, collaborative MDT working and reflective care within a supportive and flexible environment.

You will work with a varied and rewarding caseload, including children and young people presenting with:

  • Sensory processing differences
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • ADHD
  • Developmental delay
  • Emotional regulation difficulties
  • Physical difficulties
  • Functional and complex needs

The role includes clinic-based work alongside opportunities to work within local schools and community settings.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions
  • Develop individualised, evidence-based therapy plans
  • Work collaboratively with families, schools and professionals
  • Participate in MDT meetings, supervision and joint working
  • Maintain high-quality clinical documentation and reports
  • Engage in CPD, reflective practice and service development

About you

We are looking for a clinician who is passionate about paediatric therapy and committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.

You will have:

  • Degree qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
  • Experience working within paediatric occupational therapy
  • Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and report-writing skills
  • Excellent communication and collaborative working skills
  • Interest in neurodiversity-affirming and evidence-based practice
  • SI training to Level 1 (minimum) or willingness to undertake training
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a wider MDT
