About Us:

We are a growing and ambitious fast-food brand specializing in authentic Chinese street food. With first London store in Angel, we are on track to open our second location in Canary Wharf by February 2025. With a vision for continued growth across multiple locations, we are seeking a hands-on and results-driven Operation Manager to join our team, drive operational excellence, and play a key role in our journey.

Position Overview:

The Operation Manager will oversee and lead all aspects of store operations at our Angel location while preparing for the opening of our Canary Wharf store. This role requires commitment, energy, and leadership, with opportunities to take on multi-store management as the business grows.

As the ideal candidate, you will demonstrate a passion for food, strong operational skills, and an ability to inspire a team. You must also be willing to actively participate in daily kitchen operations, especially during the early stages, working 40+ hours per week, including 26 Saturday evening shifts per year.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Operations

  • Manage and participate in daily store operations to ensure smooth execution and high efficiency.
  • Oversee stock control, inventory management, and cost-efficiency processes.
  • Ensure outstanding customer satisfaction by maintaining fast and friendly service.

Brand Growth & Sales

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute strategies that enhance brand visibility and drive sales growth.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and new opportunities.

Service & Quality Standards

  • Uphold the brand’s authentic Chinese street food flavors, ensuring consistency in quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Establish and maintain a high standard of food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, lead, and motivate a high-performing store team.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to develop staff skills, boost morale, and enhance customer service.
  • Promote a team culture that values accountability, collaboration, and excellence.

Future Scope: Multi-Store Management

  • Transition into overseeing multiple store operations as the brand expands.
  • Drive consistency, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction across all locations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within a fast-paced food service environment.
  • Kitchen experience is preferred and highly valued.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data for decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication skills to inspire and manage a diverse team.
  • Passionate about delivering authentic food experiences and excellent customer service.
  • Proficiency in Chinese language is a plus.
