Ofsted Registered Children’s Manager

We are looking for a dedicated, experienced Registered Manager / Deputy Manger to lead and oversee our residential children’s home. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and motivated professional who is ready to be named on the Ofsted application as the Registered Manager and play a key role in setting up and running a high-quality, compliant service.

As the Registered Manager, you will manage the daily operations of the home, ensuring the children receive the best possible care while adhering to OFSTED standards and maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Salary: Upto £75,000
Service: Children’s Home Care Manager
Service Users: Young People Between 8 to 18
Home Size: Maximum occupancy of 3 Young People
Contract Type: Permanent / Full-Time

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Level 5 qualification in Residential Childcare (or equivalent, NVQ Level 5 preferred). Or On the Course
  • At least 2 years of experience in a residential care setting, with 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
  • Experience with care plans, safeguarding procedures, and OFSTED compliance.
  • Experience in a children’s home is essential.
  • It would be beneficial if you have previously been OFSTED registered in another children’s home care manager
