Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Office Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, overseeing administrative functions, and providing support to staff. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in office management software, including QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily office operations and manage administrative staff to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain an organised filing system for important company documents and records.
  • Handle phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring effective communication with clients and team members.
  • Oversee human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Prepare reports and presentations as required, utilising clerical skills to support management decisions.
  • Manage office supplies inventory and coordinate procurement to ensure the office is well-stocked at all times.
  • Implement organisational systems to improve workflow and enhance productivity within the office environment.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial reporting using QuickBooks for accurate tracking of expenses.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an office management role or similar position.
  • Strong team management skills with the ability to supervise and motivate staff effectively.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in clerical tasks with a keen attention to detail.
  • Solid organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is desirable.
  • Knowledge of human resources practices is an advantage but not essential.
