Ward B4 – Healthcare of the elderly is an exciting new 27 bedded inpatient ward we are currently looking for an experienced nurse to undertake this exciting opportunity as Nurse Team Manager Band 7 to join and lead our team. We specialise in Care of the Elderly, operating under a progressive nurse-led pull model. This is a unique opportunity to develop and shape patient flow, drive quality improvement, and empower a multidisciplinary team in delivering outstanding care to older adults.

We are looking for passionate, hardworking and friendly Senior Nurses to support the the Matron, you will be the advocates for the Matron in their absence and ensure care is delivered according to trust policies and procedures. You will coordinate the ward providing effective and consistent leadership to junior members of staff.

Main duties of the job

Maintain a high standard of clinical work when carrying out nursing procedures. Responsible for the safe custody of medication, including checking and administration. Ensure compliance with our clinical governance framework, you will motivate colleagues, champion service user safety and dignity and drive continuous improvement.
