The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre is looking for a Medical Device Administrator to support the Occupational Safety Manager in managing the trust Medical Device Assets.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will manage medical device servicing and repair register.

Work closely with the Occupational Safety manager and the trust 3rd party service provider to ensure all legal statutory servicing and repairs are carried out for all Medical Devices.

Ensure legal statutory safety compliance is achieved and maintained including LOLER, PUWER and Medical Device Regulation 2002

Be the first point of contact for any queries or requests from trust staff and medical devices 3rd party service provider.

Regular access to the trust financial system to raise purchase orders and receipt work when completed.

Preparation and population of pre-set reports with updated servicing records and financial budgetary information

Visually inspect medical devices for damage and non-operational function of devices.

Be the primary contact for visiting medical device service engineer and support in locating and retrieving devices for inspection, servicing , calibration and repair of medical devices.
