Job Title: Mechanical EngineerLocation: Bristol (Hybrid – 4 Days On-Site Per Week) Salary: Up to £45,000 (Depending on Experience) (All applicants must be able to work in the UK without the need for VISA Sponsorship now or in the future) Opportunity Overview: The Mechanical Engineer will support the development, and testing of advanced mechanical systems used within a regulated industry. They will work as part of a collaborative engineering team to enhance existing product lines and contribute to new product development, ensuring reliability, manufacturability, and high performance under demanding operational conditions.You will partner with a Mechanical Design Engineer, who will handle the creation of detailed models and drawings.We are looking for Engineers with knowledge, understanding & some experience in the following areas:- Familiarity with 3D CAD Software (Creo would be beneficially but not essential) – Understanding of materials, coatings, and their performance characteristics- Failure mode & effects analysis (FMEA)- Manufacturing processes and design-for-manufacture principles- Designing and executing validation tests for electro-mechanical systems- Understanding of CFD (Specifying, reviewing, and interpreting results from CFD Studies) Additional Benefits: – Discretionary Performance Related Bonus (Typically between 5-10% Annually) – Enhanced Employer Pension Contribution- 25 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays – Healthcare & Medical – Flexitime & Hybrid Working If you are interested in being considered and finding out more, please apply with your latest CV.
