LGV/Commercial Van Technician: (Company Name - Subscribers only)
Athenry Truck and Refridgeration Centre Limited are looking for 5 LGV/Commercial Van Technicians to join their team in Co. Galway, H65 NX33. This is a full time permanent position.
Salary: €45,000 – €54,000 per annum
40hr work week
Duties include and are not limited to:
Service, maintain and repair light commercial vehicles and vans (Volkswagen Crafter and MAN TGE)
Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
Complete vehicle inspections and roadworthiness assessments
Use diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify issues
Ensure all repairs are completed safely and to manufacturer standards
Support and mentor junior technicians where required
Complete workshop documentation and job cards accurately
Work collaboratively with parts and service departments
Requirements:
Qualified Commercial Vehicle, Automotive or LGV Technician
Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification workshop experience
Proven experience working on Volkswagen Crafter vehicles or MAN TGE vehicles
Strong diagnostics and fault-finding skills
Good understanding of modern vehicle electrical systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a workshop team
Must have carried out warranty work and familiarity with fleet maintenance environment
Good English communication skills (written and spoken)
Full driving licence
