Maybe you’re looking to gain vital first-hand school based Learning Support Assistant experience before progressing into a career as an Educational Psychologist?

Perhaps you have prior experience supporting children with various learning difficulties, and want to utilise your experience inside of a school setting for the remainder of the academic year?

In this role as a Learning Support Assistant, the successful candidate will be required to provide dedicated 1:1 & small group support to KS1 children with complex learning difficulties such as Autism and non-verbal communication in a full-time role for the remainder of the academic year.

Learning Support Assistant – Role Information:

  • Providing 1:1 & small group support for KS1 children with SEN
  • Utilising tailored Education Health Care plan for pupils
  • Working both inside and outside of classroom environment
  • Located in Central Birmingham area
  • Paid £475 per week during term time only
  • Multiple online CPD courses available – SEN, Safeguarding & Mental Health
  • January 2025 to July 2025 contract
  • Working hours: 08.30am – 15.30pm

Learning Support Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 UK based university degree
  • Prior experience working with children
  • Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
  • Passionate about the all-round development of children
  • *NO UK visa sponsorship available with this role*
