We are recruiting a Kitchen Porter to work in a healthcare catering kitchen in Dublin 3. The role involves supporting food service operations by maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in a clinical environment.

The workplace is accessible via Clontarf Road and Killester DART stations and multiple Dublin Bus routes.

The Role

You will work as part of a healthcare catering team, supporting the safe and efficient running of the kitchen. The role includes cleaning duties, basic food preparation support and adherence to infection control procedures.

Main Duties

Clean and maintain kitchen areas, equipment and utensils
Wash dishes, cookware and service equipment
Assist with basic food preparation tasks
Support stocking of ward pantries and beverage stations
Assist with HACCP compliance and temperature recording
Follow infection control and hygiene standards
Support chefs and catering assistants during service

Requirements

6–12 months’ experience as a Kitchen Porter or Catering Assistant
Experience in a healthcare or hospital kitchen is desirable
Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety procedures
Legal right to work in Ireland
Garda Vetting is mandatory for relevant roles.
International Police Clearance is required where a candidate has lived or worked outside Ireland for 6 months or more since the age of 16
Ability to provide five years of verifiable work references
Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
