Hours: 39 hours per week (full-time)

Job Description:
Express Security Systems Ireland, a leading provider of security solutions including alarms, CCTV, access control, fire detection, and automated gates, is seeking an IT Operations Technician to manage the day-to-day running of IT systems and networks supporting our security infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include:

Administering, monitoring, and supporting internal/external networks, servers, email, databases, and security systems
Configuring and setting up new server systems
Scheduling and performing system maintenance tasks, such as loading applications, programs, and data
Analyzing systems and making recommendations to improve performance
Identifying problems, agreeing on remedial actions, and undertaking emergency maintenance if required
Performing server backup and recovery operations, restarting systems following outages
Acting as a liaison between users, outside suppliers, and other technical teams

Requirements:

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT operations, networks, or systems administration
Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ/SVQ Levels 2-4 in IT, electronics, or equivalent; degree in IT preferred)
Strong knowledge of networks, servers, databases, and security systems (e.g., CCTV integration)
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
