Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Advisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our HR functions, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position requires a strong understanding of human resources practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage employee onboarding processes, including orientation and training.
  • Maintain accurate employee records within HRIS systems such as Workday or PeopleSoft.
  • Support recruitment efforts by utilising Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) like Taleo.
  • Conduct data entry tasks to ensure all employee information is up-to-date.
  • Provide administrative support for HR-related projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with management to address employee relations issues and provide guidance on HR matters.
  • Utilise social media management tools to promote company culture and job openings.
  • Prepare reports and analyse data to inform HR decision-making.

Experience

  • Proven experience of 2 years in human resources or a related field is essential, Have solid understanding of employment law to ensure compliance.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems, particularly Workday, PeopleSoft, or Salesforce is advantageous.
  • Experience with ATS software such as Taleo is preferred.
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail in data entry tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation and best practices in human resources.
