HGV Mechanic: BERNARD KAVANAGH & SONS LIMITED

Job Purpose: To provide excellent customer service and deliver high quality maintenance, service, fault diagnosis and repair of HGVs. Duties & Responsibilities: Carry out fault diagnosis, service, maintenance and repair of HGVs. To carry out road testing and quality control inspections as required. To deliver professional and efficient customer service at all times. To work as part of a team, maintaining a good working relationship between colleagues and customers. To adhere to correct working procedures, highlighting any errors or safety issues promptly to Management. To keep the working area clean and tidy, reporting any Health and Safety issues promptly. Report faulty facility / equipment promptly. To participate in training and development programmes as required by the Company. To undertake any other duties or activities as required. 24 Hour callout may be required on a rotation basis for this job role. Skills Profile: 3+ years post HGV apprenticeship experience or equivalent required. Proven ability to work independently and with minimum supervision. Ability to work accurately and efficiently under challenging time constraints. Excellent communication skills. Computer literate HGV technicians. Salary is 40,040.00 euro (17.50 euro per hour rate). Hours of work is 44 hours a week Monday to Friday Position Location: The Bridge Garage, Main street, Urlingford Co. Kilkenny
