Your Role as a Home Support Worker
As a valued member of our care team, you will support clients to live independently and safely in their own homes while maintaining their dignity and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
Provide companionship and emotional support
Support daily living activities and promote independence
Assist with meal preparation and nutrition
Help clients with mobility and reduce fall risks
Perform light housekeeping duties (cleaning, laundry)
Carry out basic health checks (training provided)
Support with medication management (as per care plans)
Maintain accurate records and report concerns
Communicate effectively with families and healthcare teams
What We’re Looking For
Essential Requirements
QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or equivalent (or working towards)
Minimum Care Skills and Care of the Elderly modules completed (mandatory)
Full driver’s licence (preferred) and access to transport
Good level of English (spoken and written)
Must be eligible to work in Ireland, currently resident in Ireland, and hold the approriate documentation (visas, work permits)
Compliance & Training
Submit a Garda Vetting (no crminal convictions)
Provide medical certificate (Fit to Work)
Completion of required HSELand certifications
Manual Handling & Induction training (provided by (Company Name - Subscribers only))
