We are currently seeking talented and dedicated Qualified Healthcare Assistants to join our team, providing essential support in the Dublin North area and City.

Requirements:

Full QQI Level 5 Award or equivalent.
Up-to-date People Moving & Handling Certificate and
First Aid Certificate.
Hand Hygiene for Clinical Staff or Infection
Prevention & Control Certificate.
Flexibility and reliability are a must.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to perform well under pressure.
Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities are:

Personal Care: Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene.

Mobility Assistance: Help patients with mobility, including transferring from bed to wheelchair, walking, and positioning.

Meal Preparation and Feeding: Prepare meals according to dietary needs and assist patients with eating and drinking when necessary.

Support and Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and anxiety.

Medication Assistance: Assist patients with medication reminders and ensure that they take medications as prescribed.

Housekeeping Duties: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient living areas, which may include laundry, cleaning, and organising personal belongings.

Assisting with Rehabilitation: Support patients in their rehabilitation exercises and activities, following care plans provided by healthcare professionals.

Documentation: Keep accurate records of patient care activities, observations, and any changes in the patient’s condition.

Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare teams to ensure patient needs are met.
