About Us
We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. This is a rare opportunity to create a new menu and leave your mark on the restaurant.

The Role
We are looking for a skilled Head Chef to take full responsibility for the overall management and performance of the kitchen. Working closely with the owner, you will ensure that the restaurant continues to deliver a consistently high-quality dining experience while maintaining strong operational and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:
-Lead and oversee all kitchen operations
-Shape and execute a menu rooted in Punjabi cuisine with creative expression
-Plan and develop seasonal menus
-Build, train, and inspire a strong kitchen team
-Maintain the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation
-Manage food purchasing and supplier relationships
-Control food costs, gross profit (GP), and stock management
-Oversee recruitment, training, and development of kitchen staff
-Ensure full compliance with UK food hygiene and safety regulations
-Lead the kitchen during busy services with calm, efficient leadership

About You
The successful candidate will be a passionate and organised Head Chef with the ability to lead a professional kitchen team while consistently delivering high-quality food and service.

Essential Skills and Experience:
-Exceptional leadership and kitchen management skills
-Strong menu development and culinary creativity
-A meticulous eye for detail and presentation
-Proven ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment
-A positive and motivated approach to leading and developing a team
-Strong passion for seasonal produce and classic cooking techniques
-Minimum 5 years’ experience in all aspects of Indian cuisine, including regional dishes, Indian street food, and Indo-Chinese dishes
-Highly driven, passionate, and creative
-A true team player with strong leadership skills and a willingness to train new team members

Salary
-£30,000 u2013 £50,000 per year, plus target-related bonuses for the right candidate
