Dairy Farm Assistant: (Company Name - Subscribers only)
We are seeking a reliable and experienced 2 Dairy Farm Assistant to join our progressive dairy farm in Ireland. The successful candidate will assist with the daily operation of the farm and maintain high standards of animal welfare and farm productivity.
Key Duties:
Milking cows using modern milking equipment.
Feeding and caring for dairy cattle.
Monitoring animal health and reporting any concerns.
Assisting with calving and calf rearing.
Cleaning and maintaining milking parlour, sheds and farm equipment.
Moving livestock safely and maintaining farm hygiene.
Operating tractors and basic farm machinery where required.
Carrying out general farm maintenance and other related duties.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of practical dairy farming experience.
Good knowledge of milking procedures and livestock management.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good English communication skills.
Physically fit and willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Full driving licence is desirable but not essential.
