Dairy Farm Assistant

Dairy Farm Assistant: (Company Name - Subscribers only)

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily milking routines
Monitor the health of all livestock
Administer animal remedies under supervision
Feed livestock during winter months and where otherwise necessary.
Support with calving, calf rearing, and general animal husbandry
Ensure animal housing is adequately clean
Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
Perform basic farm repairs
Requirements:
A keen interest in animal husbandry and a caring attitude towards animals is of upmost priority.
Willingness to work early mornings, weekends etc with flexibility as part of a team.
Ability to carry out physically demanding tasks.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Experience in operating/maintaining heavy machinery would be an advantage.
Ability to communicate in English
Willing to commute or relocate to employer-provided accommodation
Driving licence is desirable
