An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Community Children’s Registered Nurse post within the Community Children’s Nursing Team at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.
The team support children at home and in school with health care needs. The team liaises and supports the Children’s Ward, Paediatric Daycare Unit, Paediatric Complex Care Team, School Nursing Teams, Health Visiting Teams and General Practitioners.
As part of this role, you will also contribute to supporting children and young people living with Cystic Fibrosis. This involves working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver tailored care, assist with treatment co-ordination and provide ongoing support to the families.
The successful candidate must have a Child Branch level NMC Registration or RSCN NMC registration.
The successful candidate will be a keen team player, have excellent communication skills and display an enthusiasm to promote person centered care within our team.
Candidates should be aware that the ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
