Bord Gáis Energy is seeking a Commercial Solar PV Project Manager to manage the end-to-end
delivery of commercial solar photovoltaic (PV) installations across Ireland. The role involves
coordinating multiple commercial solar projects from initiation through commissioning, ensuring
timely delivery, regulatory compliance, quality standards, and effective stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities
Manage full lifecycle delivery of commercial solar PV projects
Coordinate internal technical teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
Maintain project schedules, milestones, and installation timelines
Liaise with commercial clients throughout project execution
Oversee procurement and material logistics
Ensure compliance with safety standards, grid connection requirements, and regulatory
obligations
Identify and mitigate project risks
Prepare structured project reports for senior management
Act as escalation point for operational and technical matters

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Project Management or related
discipline, or equivalent relevant industry experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience in commercial solar PV project coordination or management
Experience managing multi-stakeholder technical projects
Knowledge of grid-connected solar PV systems
Strong organisational and reporting skills
Full driver’s licence
