1. Station Management- to oversee a particular station and ensure dishes are prepared according to the establishments’ standards.
2. Food Preparation- prepare ingredients and dishes whilst ensuring the quality of food meets high standards.
3. Monitor stock level of ingredients and resolve any issues that may arise in terms of shortages and to ensure supplies are stocked and stored properly to maintain freshness and quality.
4. Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards as per industry regulations.
5. Coordinate with other chefs in the kitchen to ensure all dishes are prepared and delivered in a timely manner.
6. Work efficiently and quickly, particularly during peak hours to meet customer expectations without compromising on quality of food.
7. Handle any administrative tasks and ad-hoc duties that may arise.
