We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong (Italian is a bonus) background in food preparation and production, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while supervising kitchen operations and managing a dedicated team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the menu and customer preferences.
• Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness.
• Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish served.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
• Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment and encouraging professional development.
• Maintain an organised kitchen, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
• Monitor portion sizes and presentation standards to ensure dishes meet restaurant specifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
