Job Overview
Due to the revision we want to make to our menu, we are looking for a talented and passionate Chef who has mastered Turkish cuisine to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience in fusion kitchen food production and preparation, a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high food safety and quality standards. As a chef, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests while overseeing kitchen operations and managing a dedicated team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
- Supervise daily kitchen operations by ensuring that all food preparations comply with health and safety regulations.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff by promoting a collaborative environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.
- Maintain food stock levels by ordering as many as necessary to make sure the kitchen is well stocked.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, always adhering to strict hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with management to develop seasonal menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences.
- Help plan special events or catering services when necessary.
Skills
- Especially the experience of Turkish cuisine.
- Proven experience in food production in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management.
- Excellent cooking skills with the ability to create a variety of dishes in various kitchens.
- Effective team management skills with experience in supervising kitchen staff.
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure while paying attention to details.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, to facilitate teamwork and collaboration.
- A passion to help others improve their culinary skills and knowledge in a culinary environment.
