We are recruiting a Catering Supervisor to join a busy healthcare canteen and kitchen operation in Dublin 10. This 3–6 month temporary Catering Supervisor role offers full-time hours, early shifts, and an excellent work–life balance within a structured, professional healthcare catering environment.
This role is ideal for an experienced Catering Supervisor or Senior Catering Assistant with strong people management skills who enjoys leading teams, maintaining high food safety standards and ensuring smooth daily service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily canteen and kitchen operations, ensuring consistent service quality
Lead, support and motivate catering staff to maintain performance standards
Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety and hygiene regulations
Monitor food preparation, service flow and presentation standards
Assist with menu coordination, stock control and cost management
Maintain accurate records and support audits where required
Work closely with site management to ensure efficient service delivery
Requirements
Qualification in Catering or Hospitality Management (Level 7 desirable)
Proven supervisory experience in catering, healthcare catering or hospitality
Strong working knowledge of HACCP and food hygiene best practice
Legal right to work in Ireland
Garda Vetting is mandatory for relevant roles.
International Police Clearance is required where a candidate has lived or worked outside Ireland for 6 months or more since the age of 16
Two recent professional references
Fluent English with strong communication and leadership skills
Salary & Benefits
€20.07 per hour (DOE – dependent on experience)
3–6 month temporary contract, full-time (39 hours per week, 5 days over 7)
Early shift pattern, supporting strong work–life balance
Double pay on Sundays and Bank Holidays
