We are recruiting Catering Assistants to work in healthcare kitchens and staff canteens in Tullamore and the wider Midlands. The role involves supporting food preparation and service in a healthcare catering environment.

The Role

You will work as part of a healthcare catering team, supporting kitchen operations and staff canteen service. The role focuses on hygiene, food safety and reliable service delivery.

Main Duties

Assist with food preparation, service and presentation
Support kitchen and staff canteen operations during service periods
Set up and clear service counters and dining areas
Maintain hygiene, infection control and food safety standards
Restock service areas, fridges and counters
Support catering teams to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements

Previous experience in catering, food service or kitchen support roles
Basic knowledge of hygiene and food safety procedures
Legal right to work in Ireland
Garda Vetting is mandatory for relevant roles.
International Police Clearance is required where a candidate has lived or worked outside Ireland for 6 months or more since the age of 16
Ability to provide five years of work history or references
Reliable and organised approach to work
Good communication and teamwork skills

Pay & Conditions

€17.53 per hour
Double pay on Sundays and Bank Holidays
Daytime and rostered shifts available
Monday–Sunday roster depending on service requirements
