Pathway Recruitment is currently recruiting Care Support Workers and Care Workers for full-time, permanent positions within residential services across Wicklow.

The roles involve supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and additional support, promoting independence and providing high-quality, person-centred care.

The Role

– Support service users with their day-to-day needs
– Promote independence, choice and inclusion
– Assist with personal care where required
– Support social, recreational and community activities
– Follow individual care and support plans
– Maintain accurate records and documentation
– Work as part of a team to provide a safe and supportive environment

Working Hours

– Candidates must be flexible to work residential shift patterns, including:

– Day Shift: 8:00am – 8:00pm
– Night Shift: 8:00pm – 8:00am
– 24-Hour Shift: 8:00am – 8:00am, including sleepover from 12:00am – 8:00am
– Weekend and Public Holiday work may be required

Requirements

– A relevant qualification in Social Care, Healthcare, Nursing Care, Disability Support or a related field
– Good spoken and written English
– A caring and person-centred approach
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team
– Flexibility to work residential shifts
– Previous experience in healthcare, social care or disability services is an advantage
– Full driving licence is desirable

What’s Offered

– Permanent, full-time positions
– €14.50–€16.00 per hour, depending on experience
– Premium Sunday rates
– Double pay on Public Holidays
– Full induction and ongoing support
– Pay: €30,106.00-€38,532.00 per year
