At (Company Name - Subscribers only), we drive our industry forward with cutting-edge technology and innovative vehicle solutions. We are looking for an experienced Auto Electrician to ensure our vehicles’ electrical systems operate safely and efficiently across our diverse fleet.

The Role:
In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and install electrical systems in both new and remanufactured vehicles. You will play a crucial part in maintaining the reliability and performance of our advanced refuse vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose electrical faults and repair wiring systems using advanced diagnostic tools.
• Repair and replace faulty wiring, lighting, sensors, and control systems in line with manufacturer specifications.
• Install and configure new electrical systems, including lighting, CANbus components, CCTV, weighing systems, and telematics.
• Install and test electrical components and wiring harnesses in vehicles.
• Read, interpret, and work from vehicle wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and engineering instructions and maintain accurate repair records.
• Conduct end-of-line testing and commissioning of electrical components before vehicles leave the workshop.
• Collaborate with engineering, mechanical, and fabrication teams to ensure high-quality vehicle builds and repairs to enhance electrical performance.
• Maintain accurate job records, inspection sheets, and reports in line with RVS’s quality assurance procedures.
• Adhere to all relevant safety standards and procedures.

About You:

• Qualified auto electrician with proven experience in automotive electrical systems.
• Proficient with modern diagnostic tools and electrical schematics.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., City & Guilds) are highly desirable.
• Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
