Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in dental care, with a passion for providing high-quality patient service. This role involves working collaboratively with our team to deliver comprehensive person centered dental care while ensuring comfort and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Maintain patients and others safety at all times by ensuring appropriate SOPs are in place and are followed.
- Conduct thorough dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
- Develop and implement effective preventive care strategies tailored to individual patient needs.
- Proficiency in performing a comprehensive range of routine dental procedures to secure the dental and oral health.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with the wider dental and medical team, both within and outside the practice, to ensure high quality care for our patients and to ensure smooth administration and operation of the practice.
- Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
- Maintain GDC registration as a Dentist and have appropriate dental indemnity membership.
Requirements
- Be a GDC registered Dentist.
- Have (or are eligible for) an NHS list number to work within NHS Tayside.
- Desirable to have a post-graduate qualification or evidence of higher training (e.g., Dental Core Training) in restorative dentistry disciplines, but not essential.
- Strong clinical skills and a passion for patient care.
- Excellent array of non-technical skills; adaptability, communication, empathy, leadership, mindfulness & situational awareness, problem solving & decision making, time management skills, to list a few.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent ability to build rapport and goodwill with patients.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Proficiency in CAD technology is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £20,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 – 45 per week
