Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Specialist to join our finance team. Candidate who have hotel./ hospitality experience knowing how accountancy and finance works, within this industry will be ideal, The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various financial tasks, company account submissions , VAT submission understanding of taxation and VAT , night audits, cash Records, accuracy in financial records, and supporting the organisation’s financial management processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in accounting software and financial services to contribute to our company’s success. The position is paid and suitable for candidates who are organised, proactive, and eager to develop their expertise in financial management. visa Sponsorship/ work permit is available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments
• Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms to maintain financial records
• Support financial accounting activities including ledger management and reconciliation
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making
• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures
• Mentor junior staff or interns where applicable, fostering a collaborative work environment
• Contribute to the optimisation of financial workflows and systems
• Maintain detailed documentation of all transactions and account activities

Requirements

• Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or PeopleSoft
• VAT specialist understanding of the knowledge of it. Strong understanding of financial services and financial management principles ,
• Knowledge of accounts payable processes and general financial accounting practices
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior experience mentoring or supporting colleagues is advantageous
• Relevant qualifications in finance, accounting or related fields are preferred but not essential
