Our client, a small animal practice located in the historical town of Royal Leamington Spa, known for its Regency architecture and famous spas, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their team, working weekends only.

You will be part of an exceptional team committed to delivering outstanding client and patient care. This 24-hour practice comprises six Veterinary Surgeons, both day and night, with certificate holders in Endoscopy and Endosurgery, Emergency Medicine and Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, and Advanced Practitioner status in Companion Animal Behaviour. The team is supported by an excellent nursing staff and a client support team, all working together to provide the highest standard of veterinary care.

The practice is light and airy, equipped with state-of-the-art technology including an in-house laboratory, ultrasound, ECG, keyhole surgery, endoscope, x-ray, an orthopaedic theatre, and more. Within this role, you will encounter a wide variety of cases and gain valuable experience in an environment where colleagues share skills and knowledge to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

The ideal candidate will be RCVS registered and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Clinical leadership skills, experience in supporting nurse consults, and proficiency with schedule 3 procedures are essential. An understanding of how these elements contribute to clinic performance and efficiency is also crucial.
