We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and assisting with food preparation. You will be the face of our restaurant, creating a welcoming atmosphere and fostering positive guest relations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm welcome.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and promotions to encourage upselling.
• Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner while adhering to food safety standards.
• Assist in the preparation of food items as needed, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and a helpful attitude.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders.
• Maintain an organised dining area by clearing tables promptly and resetting them for new guests.
• Perform basic maths calculations for order totals when processing payments.

Skills

• Strong hospitality skills with a passion for providing excellent guest services.
• Effective time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
• Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
• Basic maths skills for accurate billing and handling cash transactions.
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance the dining experience for guests.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact positively with guests and team members.

Pay: £350.00-£450.00 per week
