Do you enjoy working within a large team with no on call and no bank holidays? Purovets are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the large and experienced team at a semi-rural practice in the lovely scenic county of Herefordshire.
You will have the opportunity to work alongside many other experienced vets and a team of 9 nurses and 8 reception/admin staff. The ideal role would be a 4 day week, giving you excellent work/life balance with 1 in 6 Saturdays with no on call or bank holiday commitments. They can also offer flexibility with this role and are open to candidates who want to work part-time for the right fit.
At the core of the practice ethos is the goal to make a positive difference through every interaction. You will be working with some fantastic equipment, including an in-house laboratory, ultrasound and digital x-ray. In this role, you will deliver exceptional clinical care to your patients during consultations and procedures, prepare tailored, accurate treatment and care plans for each patient with clear cost estimates, and engage, mentor and develop your team, enhancing their skills and utilising these in the most effective way.
You will be working in Leominster, a beautiful town nestled in Herefordshire’s greenery that boasts rich heritage and quaint charm. Its medieval origins are reflected in timber-framed buildings dotting its streets. Known for its antique shops and vibrant market, it is a haven for history buffs and shoppers alike. The scenic countryside offers peaceful retreats and outdoor adventures while also offering convenient transport links, with the A49 and a railway station on the Welsh Marches Line, facilitating easy access to destinations like Hereford and Shrewsbury.
Role:
– Salary up to £65,000 DOE
– 4 days a week
