Veterinary Surgeon – 4 days/week – Rotherham, UK: (Company Name - Subscribers only)
A friendly and supportive practice in Rotherham is seeking a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join their kind and collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity for a vet looking to grow their career in a practice that values clinical quality, teamwork, and work-life balance.
The practice offers a full range of services including nurse-led clinics, dental procedures, and routine surgery, and is backed by a strong nursing team and a newly appointed Practice Manager. The team works closely with a nearby 24-hour hospital to ensure seamless patient care.
Working Pattern:
4 weekdays per week
1 in 6 weekend rota at a 24-hour hospital
Relocation Support:
A relocation package is available for candidates moving more than 60 miles or from outside the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high standards of clinical care during consultations and procedures
Provide clear and compassionate communication with clients
Prepare accurate treatment plans with transparent cost estimates
Support clinical handovers and arrange transfer for out-of-hours care when needed
Work as part of a team to share and promote clinical best practice
Assist with mentoring and supporting junior team members when appropriate
What Were Looking For:
RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and team collaboration
Comfortable with supporting nurse-led clinics and Schedule 3 procedures
A positive, proactive attitude with a commitment to patient welfare
