Engineering @ 365 are recruiting on behalf of our client, a large and well-established manufacturer based in the West Midlands, part of a global engineering and steel technology group with an international manufacturing footprint. Our client is a specialist in cold roll forming for the construction sector and has decades of engineering heritage behind them.
The Role
This role is of key importance to the continued growth and development of the business. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience within a busy Toolroom environment with the ability to work under pressure. You’ll support day-to-day production activities in the most efficient manner, working within a team to manufacture new parts and carry out repairs and maintenance across the various manufacturing divisions.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Operating Toolroom equipment to a high standard
* Operating a forklift truck and overhead crane to assist with daily duties and deliver tooling to production u2014 training provided
* Ensuring, as part of the team, that manufacture is completed in a timely manner so that try-out dates are met
* Ensuring, as part of the team, that breakdowns are covered promptly so that production downtime is kept to a minimum
