All of our candidates, receive extensive training to teach children with Autism to acquire skills and maximize independence in the areas of communication, academics, socialisation, self-management of behaviours and daily living skills.

This position provides an excellent entry to the field for people who are interested in Early Years Special Education.

Position Requirements

  • Applicants must be physically, mentally and emotionally prepared for a challenging career experience.
  • Must be bright, energetic individuals with a strong desire to work with young children.
  • Candidates are required to complete the training we provide.
  • They must complete and comply with training, policies and procedures, especially those concerning the safeguarding, wellbeing and health and safety of the children in their care.
  • Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and be able to give evidence of their settlement status.
  • Candidates that have lived/worked abroad for more than 3 months in the last 5 years need to provide evidence of a criminal record check from the country (as per new legislation 2021).

All the training courses are provided to all of our stuff.

  • This is a full-time Job (we do not hire part-time)
  • Any offer will be subject to enhanced DBS checks (Criminal Record and Barred List) and 2 references being completed before commencement of the position.

Work Environment & Job Progress

  • We operate 5 days a week (Monday to Friday)
  • We are a friendly and safe environment to work in.
  • An applicant works with 2 to 3 different children on 1:1 basis throughout the week or in a small group situation for interventions.
  • We encourage and support continued professional development and offer many career avenues.

Candidates with NVQ Level 3 or above in childcare and education or staff that have experience working with children would be desirable but these are not essential.

Pay: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
