An important part of the staff role is to support our individuals who have complex needs and help them to manage their emotions.

So the ability to be resilient, to communicate effectively and to utilise a variety of communication tools is essential.

Our dedicated staff team support our individuals to learn and develop their independence skills which includes tasks such as daily living skills personal care, accessing the community, budgeting, taking medication. Each staff member has something to bring to the role and we encourage staff to use their humour and sense of fun and creativity in supporting our individuals with day to day life.

We actively support the service user to meet and visit their family members. In The Avenue we aim to provide a person centred approach to meet the service user individualised needs. We believe that each service user we support should have the opportunity to lead active and fulfilling lives and have lots of fun along the away!

Salary Details:

Support Worker
Full Time Contracts available
€30,288 – €42,033 per annum

*Salary based on 39 hours per week. Salary dependent on experience. When the role requires sleep-in duties a minimum additional payment of €101.60 per night applies.
