Support Worker – Slane Road – Co. Meath: (Company Name - Subscribers only)

Where You Would Work: Slane Road, Navan – Co. Meath

Blackcastle, Slane road is a supported living service which opened in March 2019, it is home to 6 people that we support with an intellectual disability 3-males in one service and 3-females in another service. The service is staffed 24/7, 365 days year. Each person that we support has their own bedroom and share a bathroom upstairs and another downstairs. There is a kitchen/diner and a spacious sitting room.

Each person that we support has an individualised care and support plan which is tailored to their needs. Every person that we support will be assisted by a keyworker to complete their Everyday Living Plan which will ensure that they are provided with care and support that they need and that they are empowered and enabled to live a life of their choosing and to live as independently as possible with the support of the staff team.

The staff team will comprise of a manager, team leader and support workers who will provide daily support to enhance independence, choice and help improve their quality of life. Slane road Blackcastle is a lone working scheme. The people that we support are assisted to access services and therapies as required such as: Occupational Therapy, Dental/Optician, Chiropodist, G.P., Specialist Behavioural Support/Behaviour Consultancy

Salary Details:

Support Worker
Full time contract available
€27,990 – €38,844 per annum * (Dependant on qualification)

*Salary based on 39 hours per week. Salary dependent on qualification/experience. Where the role requires sleep-ins, a minimum additional payment of €101.60 per night applies*
