Old Courts Veterinary Centre are currently recruiting for a Small Animal Vet to join us! We are based in Brigg, North Lincolnshire. We offer a competitive salary of up to £70K per annum DOE and responsibilities + Benefits. This can be either a Full-time or Part-time position We do have short or long-term accommodation on site, for those looking to relocate! Fixed-term contracts are available also!

Our practice – We are able to offer top quality facilities and a premises that has just benefitted from an extensive renovation.
We are a thriving practice with an outstanding reputation for excellence in our community; many of our clients are multi-generational, having been part of the practice for more than 20-years.

Our Team consist of 4 Vets (total of more than 40 years of experience) alongside visiting certificate holders in surgery, cardiology and diagnostic imaging, 5 Nurses, including Head Nurse, RVNs and SVNs (Total of over 30 years of experience!) and our non-clinical team of PCAs, Reception and Practice Manager supporting us every day. We are a sociable and supportive team.

Equipment – We have digital x-ray, ultrasound, a separate dental table and area, separate kennels and cattery and isolation. We have an in-house laboratory so can run Biochemistry, Haematology, Thyroid tests, Urine tests, in-house Cytology.

Hours – The practice is open from 8.30am – 6.30pm Monday – Friday and 8.30am – 12pm on a Saturday. Our staff are on site between the hours of 8am – 7pm. We do have protected time during the day to ensure wellbeing and breaks for all staff. We offer 15-minute consults and have regular breaks during the day and time for admin work.

Brigg is an old Market Town with a good variety of shops, supermarkets, pubs and restaurants. It also has a primary school and two secondary schools. There are good commuter links, local train stations, a bus service and Humberside Airport is a ten minute drive away and Leeds Bradford Airport is approximately one hours drive away. We have a flat above the practice which can be used for accommodation.

You will be part of our super friendly and supportive team. We pride ourselves on great clinical care, modern medicine and surgery. We have all the tools you may need. If you have a positive outlook and want to work with a supportive and helpful team, this is the practice for you. We also support and encourage further development including certificate studies.

Together with our great package we offer, you will be an experienced Veterinary Surgeon and perhaps looking for a role, where you can lead a team. You will be working in a lovely practice in the historical market town, Brigg, North Lincolnshire.

There will be requirement to work Saturday mornings on a rota basis, but there is no on call or out of hours.
