Senior Presentations Designer

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum pro-rata

Location: 15 Adam St, London WC2N 6RJ

Contract: Temp 6-month, full time

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Shifts: Monday through Friday 8:30am-5pm

Break details: 1-hour lunch, unpaid

Work model: Hybrid (At least three days in office versus two from home)

Responsibilities

  • To ensure presentations are amended and created as requested by the Bankers using the businesses templates or client specified brand guidelines
  • Produce presentations materials using PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Creating and formatting graphs and diagrams
  • An understanding of working with slide masters, building templates, working with colour themes.
  • A good understanding of working with images and graphics.
  • To provide creative input and aesthetic enhancements to presentations
  • Accurate and timely production of all presentation materials
  • Ensure that all work is quality checked before returning to the Bankers
  • To effectively prioritise workload, be proactive, responsive, helpful and a team player

Experience, Skills and Competencies

  • 2 years plus experience of working in a corporate culture or an interest in working within the financial services industry
  • Advanced technical knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office 365, predominantly Word, PowerPoint and Excel and a strong background in presentation work
  • Possess an excellent eye for layout, accuracy and attention to detail (including thorough Quality Control)
  • Must be able to work on their own initiative
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills
  • Proven time management and prioritisation abilities
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently – a self-starter, hands-on

Key Competencies:

  • Excellent understanding of content organisation and hierarchy
  • Highly experienced in infographics and content visualisation
  • Advanced technical knowledge and experience of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel and a strong background in presentation work
  • Good knowledge of Adobe InDesign
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite would be desirable
  • Good proofing skills – Quality control checks
  • Ability to offer high end creative solutions for page content
  • Understanding of brand guidelines
  • Effective and accurate organisational and administrative skills
  • Possess a good understanding of customer service
