We have an opportunity for a full time position on a fixed term/seconded basis for 12 months.

The Neurology services at UHSussex is rapidly changing and the opportunities within this role are endless.

We are looking for someone to work at Brighton in both inpatient and outpatient roles with an emphasis on providing high quality care.

We welcome applications from band 7 pharmacists looking to gain experience in a more senior role. Obtaining the position at band 8a is dependent on successful completion of FS2 post-graduate diploma or equivalent, but we will consider a progression pathway.

Main duties of the job

Will provide an expert level of clinical pharmacy services to neurology inpatient and outpatient services at UHSussex (Company Name - Subscribers only) Foundation Trust at Brighton

Will help lead specialist clinical pharmacy practice for neurology and be responsible for the delivery, development, evaluation and co-ordination of clinical pharmacy services in line with the objectives of the division and the UHSussex pharmacy strategy.

  • Hospital experience in Neurology
  • Experience of management of complex patients
  • Member of GPhC

Desirable

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy Practice or equivalent
  • Independent Prescribing Qualification
  • MSc in clinical pharmacy or equivalent
