Senior Maintenance Fitter: (Company Name - Subscribers only)
Due to expansion, Oceanus Fishing is looking for 3 Senior Maintenance Fitters to join their team in Duncannon, Y34RX05. This is a permanent, full-time position.
40hrs/wk
€45,000/annum
Duties include but not limited to:
– Maintenance installation, diagnostics and repair of service plant and industrial machinery, engines and hydraulics – electrical and mechanical.
– Fitting and assembly of parts and/or metal subassembly to fine tolerances.
– Perform preventative maintenance, repair work, overhauls, and installations.
– Anticipate, report or repair any equipment requiring remedial work that may affect the continuity of operations.
– Ensure 6 cylinder diesel engine responsible for running the water pumps remains functioning and operating at all times.
– Perform ongoing repairs on steel boats and gear.
– Perform all required fabrication duties.
– Service and maintain all trucks, trailers and forklifts.
– Ability to work on various vehicles and ability to use initiative and adapt easily.
– Monitor Processes, Materials, or Surroundings Monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems.
– Making Decisions and Solving Problems Analysing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
