Senior Cardiac Physiologist – Echo: (Company Name - Subscribers only)
We are seeking a Cardiac Physiologist to join our friendly, supportive team. Experience in echo isnot essential, as we have a strong track record of successful training. With two BSE examiners in the department, we are well-positioned to support your professional growth and skill advancement.
Our busy echo service delivers a broad range of diagnostic investigations including adult and paediatric outpatient and inpatient echo, stress echo (DSE and e-bike), bubble and contrast studies, congenital clinics, and a cardio-oncology clinic. We utilise state-of-the-art echo machines with 4D capability. We are currently establishing several physiologist-led services and actively pursuing BSE departmental accreditation.
We are also committed to research and are involved in two ongoing studies, offering an exciting environment for those interested in advancing clinical knowledge.
What we offer:
- Comprehensive development opportunities, both internally and externally, including regular attendance at the BSE conference.
- Guidance and support towards achieving BSE Level II accreditation.
- A balanced role: half your working week will be spent in echo, the other half in a range of non-invasive procedures.
- Flexibility to maintain existing invasive skill, with support to transition into a specialist role when ready.
- Compressed working hours: 8am to 6pm, 4 days per week.
- No on-call duties for echo.
- 20% off probe time to reduce musculoskeletal strain and support role expansion and CPD.
